ITS BEEN A LONG TIME!!!

So much has been going on that I just have not had a free second to blog. So Katie Bella is 9 months old now and weighs in at a healthy 20.02lbs!!!!!! She still has a foot fetish (YUCK), and still does not have a tooth in her head. She has been cruising for the last month and is now standing on her own with no help or support, so we know that greatly anticipated first step will occur soon. She is learning to say her little baby words and now says...DaDa, MomMom, Uh-Oh, bye bye, Hey and BaBa. She blurted out "what dat" the other day, but I am guessing it was jibber jabber because she has not repeated that since. She is finally putting herself to sleep in her own bed, which we are so very proud of!!!! She interacts with everyone and I love love love her little personality. She is quite a ball of fire and has one hell of a temper. If you dare try to take something from her she pulls her hand away and gives you a look of "I dare you". However, if you can successfully remove the item that she should not have from her hand then she will throw herself into panic mode and cry and kick her little chunky legs (its actually pretty cute). When she is excited she jumps up and down and pants like a dog, with her tongue stuck out. It is hilarious. I am not quite sure where she learned this behavior from, but it is good entertainment. She also gives kisses - not the kind you want though! She opens her mouth as wide as possible and then comes the tongue that licks you until you can take no more. Her eyes are still blue and her hair is still a blond/brunette/red mixture and is so long that it makes her look older than she really is. Her hair is actually longer than shoulder length. I will post some pictures later this week! LOVE YOU ALL!

Unladylike conduct

So our beautiful little one is now 7 months old...WOW time flies when you are having fun. We are so excited that she is trying so very hard to crawl (we may not be so excited once she is mobile though). She does push ups all day long and is getting around by scooting backwards and rolling to her destination. When she wakes up in the morning she looks like a Wild Child, you see our child was born with hair like no other (she is long overdue for her SECOND haircut) actually she resembles a mix between Don King and a skate punk. I guess during the night she tosses and turns (and drools - adding the needed crispness to hold her style) until every long hair on her head is standing in the air. She is quite a site upon first waking! At her 6 month checkup she was ahead of the curve with her skill development and weighed in at a whopping 17 lbs 8 oz and was 25 inches long. She has some interesting little quirks too... at bedtime when she is fighting her sleep she will make sounds like a frog (its cute at first until 20 minutes later when she is still doing it) and she likes to suck on the ends of her hair which I thought was so weird until her Aunt Chelsea told me that both she and her Aunt Khristyna used to do the exact same thing. Oh, and she got her ears pierced, I know some of you may not agree with that and that is your prerogative, but I think she looks just adorable. Now unto the unladylike conduct...Our child has apparently inherited her fathers' excessive gas problem and will wait until either she has no diaper on or is surrounded by people and then lets it go. Now this would not be a problem if it did not sound like her ass just ruptured and the smell, well that's another problem. Lets just say she has a lot of manners to learn!

Saying DaDa, eating her toes and FINALLY rolling over!

WOW! What a big month we have had. 3 weeks ago this little one starting screaming DADA out of nowhere. At first Justin thought I was crazy, because of course she would only say it when he was out of the room and never in front of him. Finally, he got to hear her and he loved it...the first couple of million times. She also began clapping her hands, not when she is happy or excited or when someone says "YAY" but when she is sleepy and wants to go to bed, I find it pretty funny. 1 week after she turned 5 months old she also decided to start sitting up like a big girl, with no help from anyone else! And now, as of today she rolls over...FINALLY! I knew this little butter ball would finally roll over one day! LOL! You have to watch the video the entire way through to see the finale! ENJOY!
